We offer a creative and affordable alternative to public schools.  Working well for all types of students from
independent scholars to those who thrive on attention. Small by design, with a 1-10 teacher student ratio or better. Our classes provide an individualized learning experience with a strong academic foundation.

Alternative Learning

We use the Stanford tests for determining
how our students are performing in
contrast to other schools. We do not use
the Regents tests or Common Core

40 different colleges and universities;
including Cazenovia, Bennington, Oberlin, University at Albany, Berea
and Skidmore.

A Strong Arts Program


We offer a strong program in the arts.
Classes in glassblowing, basic drawing and painting, metals, ceramics, wood working and music
theory are supplemented with field trips
to art galleries, museums and more.

Clubs and Extracurricular Activities
Over the years, clubs at T.A.S. have
included; Anime, Paintball, Computer,
Yearbook, Prom Committee and more.


Parent participation is always welcomed,
with opportunities for helping in many
ways and at community events.
